Role Summary/Purpose
This is a great opportunity to join the Distributed Power Technology organization. The role is aimed at developing advanced technology and next generation solutions for the reciprocating engine business in P&W. The role will require innovative and creative thinking approach and the ability to challenge the status quo.
Essential Responsibilities
As an Advanced Technology Lead Engineer you will be responsible for:
  • Coordinating all mechanical systems related technology development and new technology introduction (NTI) activities
  • Managing our relationships with external partners on an operational basis and coordinates all mechanical system inputs to the multi-generational technology plan (MGTP) development
  • IP strategy & execution for the mechanical system related reciprocating engines technologies
  • Coordinate with Center of Excellence (CoE) councils and report directly to the Global Technology Manager – Reciprocating Engines for Distributed Power, to foster innovation and improve quality, speed and rigor of our NTI execution
  • Leading NTI projects related to reciprocating mechanical systems. Definition of scope and progress assessment.
  • Being a focal point to External partners in mechanical systems program definition and progress monitoring.
  • Providing leadership of processes protecting intellectual property, export controlled and strategic technology
  • Drive mechanical systems technology development from R&D till hand over to the NPI team.
  • Identifying and assessing new ways of combining components and configuring systems.
  • Developing and managing the budgets, schedules and risk assessments in support of the technology initiatives and co-ordinate the activities and deliverables across multi-functional teams in accordance with relevant procedures and processes.
  • Facilitating the identification of technology needs and interface with Product Line management and Customers to generate new growth opportunities and address critical technology challenges.
  • Monitoring industry and technology trends as well as regulatory developments and consolidating with inputs from the GE Power & Water business to develop new solutions.
  • The position may require ~20% travel to GE global engineering and research centers, and customer visits.
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Math or Science from an accredited university or college
  • At least 3 years of technical leadership experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in technology applicable to IC engine component development
  • Strong background in product development and demonstrated experience in the identification and evaluation of new or existing technologies.
Desired Characteristics
  • Ph.D. or equivalent in engineering, math or science
  • At least 5 years Reciprocating Engine development experience
  • Prior experience leading innovation and product development
  • Solid business acumen and customer mindset
  • Strong oral/written communication skills, and mature interpersonal/leadership skills
  • Six Sigma certification
  • Expertise in areas such as Thermo-mechanical fatigue (TMF), CFD, Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer, Materials, Controls, Sensing and Measurement technologies
  • Excellent analytical skills, highly motivated and perseverant
  • Strong leadership skills and a track record in managing Engineering teams developing innovative solutions
  • Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate effectively and coordinate across multiple teams and functions
  • Must be willing to work out of an office located in Warsaw, Poland

Omówiona została filozofia pracy z programem AutoCAD, wygląd głównego okna aplikacji oraz dopasowanie programu do własnych potrzeb.

Kolejne podrozdziały poświęcone są zagadnieniom rysowania i modyfikowania obiektów (linie, multilinie, okrąg, prostokąt wielobok, splajn). Zostały również omówione zasady pracy z warstwami, blokami oraz wymiarowanie. Ostatnie rozdziały kursu podstawowego omawiają zasady drukowania.
